Websites for retail shops

Built for the shopper deciding whether to walk in — what you stock, where you are, and whether it's worth the trip today.

What a shop website actually needs to do

Browsing versus buying

Someone on your site is deciding whether the trip is worth it, not filling a cart. Show what you stock, roughly what it costs, and where the shop is — the decision to buy still happens in store.

Findable on the high street

A shopper standing outside a strip of shops searches on their phone for what they want, right there. Your listing needs to come up with the right address and hours, not a stale one from years ago.

Click and collect

If you offer click and collect, it needs to be obvious how it works — what to order, how you'll confirm it, and where to pick it up. A vague 'contact us to arrange' loses the customer who wanted to skip the queue.

Seasonal and sale updates

Stock changes with the season, and sales run on their own schedule. A site that still shows last season's range looks abandoned, which is worse for a shop than having no site.

Common questions

Can you show what I have in stock?
We build the site to showcase your range with photos and categories, not a live inventory feed synced to your till — that's a bigger integration than a small shop site usually needs. If you want that level of detail, tell us and we'll scope it separately.
How does click and collect work on the site?
Your $699 site already covers the page count listed on its card. Click and collect is $299 on top of that because it is a functional order page, not simply another page of text: it has to set out what's available, take the order, confirm it, and say where to collect it.
Will people find my shop when they search nearby?
We build your site to match your address, hours and category so it lines up with your Google Business Profile, which we can also set up as a separate service. Search ranking on the day still depends on Google, not on us.
Can I update sale or seasonal items myself?
Small text and photo changes are made for you as part of hosting — send them through and we apply them. If you would rather make the changes yourself instead of asking us, tell us and we can talk through what that would take.
Do I need to supply product photos?
Yes — you supply the photos of your stock. We size, crop and arrange them so the page loads quickly and looks tidy on a phone screen.
